About Respiratory Treatment

At Respiratory Physiotherapy Ireland, our physiotherapists are experienced and trained at providing individualised treatment for a variety of respiratory conditions. Each respiratory technique has a different use and your condition will influence what is the most appropriate technique for you.

Respiratory conditions can have a significant impact on exercise tolerance and independence with everyday activities. Physiotherapy is focused on maximising physical function and helping you manage your symptoms.

At Respiratory Physiotherapy Ireland, we commence with a comprehensive assessment of the patient’s respiratory function, breathing pattern, respiratory muscle function and exercise capacity to ascertain your individual problems assessment of skeletal muscle function is particularly important, as this forms a major barrier to normal functioning in many respiratory patients.
